Klinische Forschung in Endokrinologie und Diabetologie, insbesondere zum Management von Adipositas, Erkrankungen der Nebenniere und neuroendokrinen Tumoren. Systematischer weiterer Aufbau und Evaluation von Sprechstunden in Endokrinologie und Stoffwechsel. https://www.uhcw.nhs.uk/wisdem/
Experimentelle Forschung insbesondere zur zentralen Regulation der neuroendokrinen Stressachse; besonderer Fokus auf der Molekularbiologie und Signaltransduktion von Corticotropin-Releasing Hormon Rezeptoren und der Rolle des Locus Coeruleus als Hub in der Integration der endokrinen und metabolischen Stressreaktion.

Experimental research, particularly on the central regulation of the neuroendocrine stress axis; special focus on the molecular biology and signal transduction of corticotropin-releasing hormone receptors and the role of the locus coeruleus as a hub in the integration of the endocrine and metabolic stress response.
